REMEMBRANCE WEEK

The dinner will be on Sunday Nov 1st . Cocktails at 5:00pm, Dinner at 6pm. Dress attire is Blues/Greys if you have them. No Jeans please. Guest Speaker is Councillor Jo-Anne Gignac. Tickets are free to Branch#255 Veterans and their Spouse/Caregiver. We have allotted 40 tickets for Non-255 Veterans and their Spouse/Caregiver and it first come,first served. Once those tickets are gone, they will need to be purchased at the non veteran rate of $35.00 a ticket. Everyone is welcome to attend. Tickets will be sold until Oct. 29th. There will be no tickets given out after that date. No exceptions. We need to know what numbers we will have for the kitchen and room setup. Please get your tickets early to avoid any disappointment.
PARADE
The Parade will be on its traditional day, Saturday Nov. 7th at 1pm at the cenotaph at
Miracle Park. Comradeship at the Branch following the Parade. All are welcome.
We need volunteers to help make these dates successful. A volunteer sign-up sheet is up on the bulletin board and an organization meeting will be held mid-October. It is a busy time for the Branch with these activities and the Poppy Campaign…we need all hands-on deck.
REMEMBRANCE DAY
The Branch will be hosting a Remembrance Day Ceremony at the Branch for those who cannot make it downtown. Please note the earlier start time of 10:55 so we can
observe a moment of silence at 11am
